My name is Timothy Ross and I am the co-founder & CEO of Home View, LLC and its subsidiary, SBV Productions. We are experts in video, photography & website production where Home View has a primary focus in real estate and SBV Productions has a focus in small to medium business. I currently live in Chatsworth with my wonderfully amazing and beautiful wife, Michelle, and our awesome pets, Buddy (Budgie Parakeet) and Coco (Belgian Shepherd Malinois). Hopper, our beloved lutino cockatiel, unfortunately passed away in 2009.

In my former life, I was a bit of an athlete. In fact, I was one of many talented students who attended Royal High School from 1988-91. I excelled at football and track. Not that it matters anymore, but here are some of my athletic accomplishments: 1st Team All State (California) by Cal-Hi Sports magazine, in the Top 100 high school seniors in the nation by The Sporting News magazine and noted as one of the Top 17 football players in the nation by the Long Beach Press Telegram. In track, I broke several school, league and county records in the long jump, triple jump and high jump. I went on to compete in the CIF, Masters and California State Championship track meets, and was offered athletic scholarships by just about every university in the nation. I took a few unofficial trips to UCLA, USC & Stanford and my official trips to Colorado, USC & Washington.  I chose to go and play for the defending national champions at the University of Colorado on a full ride athletic scholarship. While at CU, we won a Big 8 Conference Championship, went to 4 bowl games (Blockbuster Bowl, 2 Fiesta Bowls and the Aloha Bowl), I was the Special Teams Champion at CU in 1992, lettered in pentathlon and decathlon. I had a best high jump of 7′ 1/2″ and placed in the Nebraska Invitational. Like all good things, my athletic career came to an end… but mine was due to a painful groin injury. My final year of college was dedicated to earning a second degree and I ended up graduating with only 1.12% of the class with double-degrees. I received a BFA in Film and a BA in English.

After graduation I took several jobs including teaching, sales and claims to pay the bills and began writing screenplays. By the end of the 1990s, I had written three screenplays. I also met Michelle Black, who, in 2001, would become Michelle Ross. From 2000 to 2004 I worked at the Directors Guild of America and from 2004 to 2006 I worked at Showtime Networks, Inc. It all eventually led to me owning my own business. I am also the former President of the Hollywood Congress of Republicans (HCR), a political non-profit organization with a focus on the entertainment industry, the current President of my HOA and a proud board member of my local Kiwanis. The next goal is to make the Inc. 5000, then Business Week’s Top 1000, then the Forbes 500 and, eventually, the Fortune 100.   In the meantime, I am a weekly writer for HollywoodRepublican.net as well as a contributing writer on Breitbart’s Big Hollywood.

I started this blog because I am, well, a major “Jefferson Republitarian” who also happens to be a prolific Facebook blogger.  I know, the idea conjures up some fat pale guy sitting behind a computer screen all day with his Diet Cokes and Cheetos only stepping away for an occasional bathroom break.   I’m quite the opposite.  I don’t necessarily sit in a chair all day long, I can blog anywhere at anytime…  and I especially dislike Diet Cokes and Cheetos.  When the news hits, I get it up fast.  When I am challenged by people on the left, I take it the distance using principles and irrefutable data to trounce their arguments.  I like to infuse a little bit of Hollywood into my politics too.  So Politainment, as I call it, will be on found on this site as well.

Please feel free to give me any feedback you see fit.  My direct email is: mrtim29@ymail.com
Thank you!!!

  • Another senate scandal with Rangel – this marion barry of the “house” will get about as much justice as barry did there…and the stupidity of his constituents to continuously re-elect a crook is saddening… but THEY will be the ones who deserve what they get from this bum… he should be jailed as many of those others on the hill need to be… let’s ee if he can come up with a quote as amusing as barry did, “The Bi#t&h set me up!!!” I am sure he will being some super-genius comment to the table…
