The nation’s debt skyrocketed up by $166 billion in a single day last week (June 30), the third-largest increase in U.S. history AND bigger than the entire annual deficit for fiscal year 2007. On Wednesday, the CBO said the government has recorded a $1 trillion deficit for the first nine months of fiscal 2010 (begins Oct. 1) and that the deficit for this year would surge to a record-breaking $1.56 trillion. The total and utter lack of responsibility by Democrats for wanting to continue their spending spree and not passing a budget this year is inexcusable. Hooray for CHANGE!
